This book was also probably about 15 years in the making.



Do not let the title of the book fool you - we know girls like dinosaurs too! In fact, the Beth of Girls Don't Like Dinosaurs was based on my daughter, Beth, who LOVED and still loves dinosaurs at age 17! The idea for this book came from the numerous times over the years when we tried to find Beth dinosaur themed anything - books, shirts, sneakers, backpacks, underwear, toys, etc - and anything dinosaur was always in the "boys section" of the store. It was as if the world was telling us that girls don't like dinosaurs.

The rest of the story is fictional, but as you will read, even Elliot and Carter are convinced Beth cannot like dinosaurs because she is a girl. Beth cannot understand why people keep saying that because she is a girl and she does like dinosaurs.

Girls Don't Like Dinosaurs is for all children who love dinosaurs!
